Tissue box world

For the first term of Sunday School this year, we are doing a Super Sleuth theme! The core teaching will be based off “Who Will Be King?”, a version of Two Ways To Live for kids. For the first week’s craft, we got the kids to make their own worlds inside a shoebox/tissue box; colouring the “land” inside, sticking animals, and making various things with pipe cleaners, paddlepop sticks, cardboard and tissue. Then they made a crown and placed it on top of their creation to signify they were in charge of the world they created. Likewise, if God made the world we live in, then God must also be in charge.
